I made this page with allot of forethought, it is about
a subject that weighs heavy on my heart and spirit.
and as with all my pages, the idea was sparked by a
piece of music.
Whats the subject you ask?..
Our Young People
The Next Generations!
Like so much of the music that our children are
listening to these days, you are thinking that
this was just a bunch of noise.
BUT it is not.
It has a strong message in it..
One that I think we all need to think about.
If you will remember when we were that age
and the music that we listened to spoke
about subjects that we all related too
Correct?
Well today is no different, the only thing
different is the Society that we live in!
We as parents, grandparents, and responsible
and caring adults need to know what the music
today is saying to them.
I am not going to quote percentages and
give a long speech about teenage suicide,
that is covered in another one of my pages..
What I want to talk about is recognizing
the warning signs, of problems, listening
to what they are saying.
But maybe more importantly what they are not saying!
Things today are so different, than other decades..
The pressures from peers and facing just day
to day living our young people are faced
with issues that you and I did not even
think about at their age.
It can and does at times become over-
whelming for them.
If they are not equipped with the right tools
they need like;
Education. ...
A good loving and secure Support System...
Someone willing to listen and validate them....
They can, and will fall prey to those that
WILL listen.
You need only watch the evening news
to know that those listening might have
different agendas. The news is filled
with the horror stories..
We can and must do something to help this situation.
I think the bigger and more important question is...
Can We Afford Not To?
My son is a Police Officer, and can sit
and tell horror stories of what he see's on
a daily basis out on the streets and in
the homes, he is called to.
They, our Police Officers by themselves
can not fix this problem.
But we as a Nation can...
In our own communities, cities and States,
it is our duty!
But more important it is our
Moral and Christiain responsibility!
We are our brothers keeper!
Oh it is easy to say,
"Hey I am not their parents!"
But if they do not have parents that
encourage them, teach them, and
love them, does that mean we as
a society must also do the same?
I don't think so.
We cannot turn a blind eye to the pain
and hurt that some children/people
in this Country and around the World
are feeling.
We have too many resources, too many
Christains that claim to be doing God's work.
Are not our Lost, Abused and Broken
children and young people God's Work?
I would be safe in saying that everyone
that is reading this today knows such a child.
Maybe a young adult, or an adult
who's never had anyone help them
to heal and feel loved by anyone
here in this world, must less told
of the unconditional love given by
our Lord and Savior and the
Sacrifice he made for us.. ..

They were overlooked, told they were
no good, told there was no hope for them.
Abused and neglected to the point of what
some would say, "No Return."
THERE is no such thing as NO RETURN!
Jesus died and paid the Price for "No Return"..
You say "What can I do, I am just one person?"
Is the foundation to a building not started
by laying a single block? Then another
and so on until there is a foundation a solid
rock to build upon?
If each of us would just reach out in what
ever capacity you have available to you,
even if it is in your own home.
Start today building a foundation for these
people whose live's has left them with
feelings of fear, being alone, abused,
unloved, left behind in society, but most
of all unworthy of any of it!
If there is ONE person that speaks in
prayer for these, people, they are
loved and will be helped by our Father
in Heaven..
Please keep in mind that any Life Journey
starts with that first step..
Please Help someone to take that..
All they need is a little guidance, love,
encouragement, and prayers.
A very smart young lady
(Whom I Love) once told me,
"You can only be and do what you were taught
and told you were!"
I say lets start today on a Journey together
and storm the gates of Heaven asking
for guidance, wisdom, and strength to
make a difference in someone's life!
Remember.. Sometimes Prayer IS the first step!
Thank you for listening..
Please won't you leave a message or
prayer for these people, or maybe
someone in your life that you know..
You don't have to mention names.
The Lord knows who you are
speaking of..
Thank you and God Bless!
