"My Heart and Soul Mate"

I tell myself, as I watch you sleep.

How very blessed I am to have captured,
the heart of one so sweet and caring.

As I think back, I now believe I never
really knew what true love really was.

Not knowing, it is about sharing and caring, not
only for the person, but that person's soul,
and spirit. And excepting nothing else,
but the same in return. . .

We both have loved before, and felt the pangs
of a broken heart.

That deep and searing pain of the heartbreak
of a love, that simply was not meant to be.
Or so it would seem..

Perhapes maybe, we had just chosen the wrong
Hearts, and had not yet found the right key.

Maybe!, just by chance its 'The Great Spirit's'
plan... allowing us to make the choice of the
wrong ones. So when the time came we would
appreciate all the more when he blessed us
with, this the right one.

I had never truly laughed and loved, until the
night we met.

It's funny now, as I look back, I can't help but
smile. We both had vowed to never love again!

And on that you could place a bet ! As I lay
and watch you softly sleep. I know that my
love for you, is in one I will always keep....

You brought such love and laughter into my life.
Which was at the time, was in such a complete
disaster.

You were so very different, from anyone I had
ever known. I was completely lost, and not even
thinking what falling in love again might cost..

It was in your sparking blue eyes, that
I became completely lost.

You took me to heights of passion, and pleasure;
to which I had never flown.

A complete and total love that I had never known..

I do not know when it hit me. But hit me,
it did indeed.

Throwing all the caution signs I usually had,
into the blowing wind. I somehow felt deep inside
of me, I knew I had met my very best friend.

And it was with you, I instinctly knew , the rest
of my life, I wanted to spend with you...

My Heart and Soul-Mate, I promise to always love
and cherish you. Because that is what I recieve
from you.

I promise to be your friend and lover, for now and
forever.

For I now know, for me there could be no other.

My King of Hearts, how much do I Love you..

I love thee with all of my heart and soul.
With all of my mind and body. . .

I will love thee until the world stands still
until the mountains crumble into the sea..

I will love thee until the song birds can find
no more happiness to sing about. . . .

Until the crickets no longer chirp. . .
Until the flowers have lost their scent. .

My Love for thee will be strong until all the
mighty rivers have long since stopped.. . .

Until the four winds have died and no longer
rustle through the great oaks of this world...

My love will never be any less brighter than
that of the sun, moon, and the stars. . .

I will love thee forever, and a day. . . and
if that is not long enough when that day comes,
then I will again say, I will Love thee until
this world comes to an end. . . .

For my King of Hearts,
my Heart belongs to thee
and no one else. I give thee
my eternal love.
