Bow heavy heads Against
Onslaught of Cold,
Damp, Fall Winds
Forebear and Promise of
Freezing, Winter-snow
Yet to come.
Forgetting their seedlings
Softly falling, cushioned by
Spring rains, blowing as
Bullets on wild Summer-Storms
Drifting to Earth, seedlings
Give rise to offspring,
Attaining full growth
Reflect Ancestral Beauty
Surreal Spring lying beneath
Ice cold Winter-Ground
Will bring Beauty, Life, to
Heads-Held-High Sunflowers
