'When I Said I Do"

I respectfully dedicate this page as the opening
page to our Cancer Cause Site, with my love
and condolences to my dear friend Peg, who
lost her life mate Jim to cancer. March 24th 2002.

Peg went to join him in 2006..
She lost her battle with Scleroderma..

These times are troubled and these times
are good and they're always gonna be,

They rise and they fall we take 'em all
the way that we should

Together you and me forsaking them all
deep in the night and by the light of day

It always looks the same, true love always does

Here by your side, or a million miles away
nothin's ever gonna change the way that I feel,

When I said I do, I meant that I will

That's what I had in mind when I said I do

For all who came before,

Only you and I can undo all that we became

and a man

And after everything that comes and goes

a lonely heart in every lost and found

who found out what forever means

When I said I do, I meant that I will

I hope your happy in your place of rest;
For I am having a hard time handling this life test.
As it is so much harder, than all the rest.

You left me in a way,
I Pray not too many people ever know.

I think the part that hurts the most,
is knowing I will never hear your
voice again or kiss your lips to mine.

My arms that was once held you tight,
now feel so empty and light.

My heart that was filled with happiness,
just from being with you, has now opened
the door to sorrow and pain. . .

People tell me time and time again,
It will get easier and my wounds will heal.
I hope this is true. I hope they are right,
for I miss you each and every night.

Until me meet again in Heaven,
Good-bye my Lover, Good-night my Friend.

I will Love you Always and Miss you Forever !
